Contributions Taking Stock of IGF 2015 and Looking Ahead to IGF 2016
Contribution from Miguel Ignacio Estrada
A) Taking Stock of the 10th IGF:
What worked well?
The sessions were all really interesting and the speakers also.
What worked not so well?
I think remote participation was not taken seriously. Remote participants should feel like they are on the room, and this never happened to me while I tried to participate.
There were also some problems with image and audio desynchronization during some meetings.
B) Suggestions for improvements for the 11th IGF meeting in 2016?
A better remote participation system. I offer myself to help select or build a better system in order to make remote participants feel like they are inside the room.
