Biography
Roelof Meijer is SIDN's CEO since 2005. SIDN is a leading Internet Top-Level Domain Operator and operates the .nl top tevel, with over 4.9 million domains one of the world's largest and most successful country code domains. In addition, SIDN runs the Netherlands' ENUM zone on the Internet. SIDN was founded 1996, counts approximately 70 staff and is based in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
Before joining SIDN, he was the Managing Director at PTC+, an international training organization. Earlier he worked as engineer, project coordinator, technical consultant and government advisor for an engineering company and later the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Zambia and Burkina Faso respectively. Meijer holds a master’s degree in Engineering from Wageningen University, The Netherlands.
