Remote Participation Insructions

1. In order to join the IGF meetings, click on the relevant link available here. Please try to join the room at least 15 minutes before the event.The agenda of the meeting is available, indicating the time and the date of the meetings. All the times are indicated in Central European Summer time or Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) +2.

2. When you click  on the link, you will be asked to enter your name and email address. If asked to enter the meeting password, please insert IGF1. This is the password for all the virtual rooms.

3. After clicking on the join button, you may be asked to download Cisco WebEX ad on. Please download the required application.

4. After the download has finished you can go back and refresh the page or click on the link to join the meeting.

5. A pop-up window will open: 'Your host has started an Integrated Voice Conference. Do you want to participate?' Click on 'Yes'

6. A 'Speaker/Microphone Test' window will pop-up. Test your equipment, and click on 'OK'

7. Click on 'Participants' to view the host (if video is available), and other attendees.

8. Your microphone will be automatically muted when you enter the room. This is to preserve silence in the room.

9. If you would like to comment, or intervene you can write in the chat box. You can ask the remote moderator to read out the comment. Please send your long statements and interventions to IGF mailbox at [email protected]

Note: To connect to the WebEx platform, Java must be installed. Java is a standard software used in many systems and supplied by a major manufacturer. If Java is not installed in your computer, your browser will try to install Java automatically. If not, please install it manually via www.java.com, or follow the instructions at www.java.com/en/download/help/download_options.xml
